What are you involved in outside of track and field?
I am a Whitman Fellow with the EEGLP (Economic Empowerment and Global Learning  Project) as well as an EXCEL scholar in an Integrative Engineering Lab.

What is your favorite event in track? Why?
My favorite event is discus. I love how the many unique elements of the technique work together. I have found that much like shot put, strength is crucial, but discus puts much more emphasis on control and technique. It’s the best feeling when you execute and hit a big throw.

What has been your favorite moment while competing for Lafayette?
My favorite moment of competing was at the Lafayette Open when I threw a PR in shot and discus. I loved having the support of my teammates and finally getting to see my hard work pay off.
