Why did you choose Lafayette?
I chose Lafayette because I was drawn in as soon as I drove onto campus. The beautiful architecture and quads paired with small class sizes and my ideal major made Lafayette an easy choice.
What is your favorite event in track & field? Why?
My favorite event in track and field is high jump. Going into high school, I never even thought about high jumping, but when I tried it I fell in love with the event. It has become my best event and I hope to continue high jumping at Lafayette.
At Chatham: Won outdoor high jump title at the 2018 NJAC Large School Championships... Qualified for East Coast Relays in the jump and 55m hurdles... Helped the outdoor 4x100 relay team place fourth at the 2019 North 2, Group 3 Championships... Placed third in the high jump at the 2019 North 2, Group 3 Championships... Member of shuttle hurdle team that placed fourth at the 2019 NJSIAA Indoor State Relay Championships... Aided 4x200 relay team to a runner-up finish at the 2018 Morris County Relay Championships… Contributed to the shuttle hurdle team’s runner-up finish at the 2019 Morris County Relay Championships… Member of 4x200 team that placed fifth at the FAT meet... Named team MVP for outdoor track and field... Earned four varsity letters in indoor and outdoor track and field... Earned spot on the Honor Roll… Earned Gold Award Girl Scout honor.
