What are your favorite things about Lafayette?
One of my favorite things at Lafayette are all of the support networks. Throughout my first year, there were many people who were there to make my transition to college easy and I could see that they wanted to ensure that my first year was as easy as it could be. Now, as a sophomore, I am also able to see the support networks in place for upperclassmen, and am starting to experience all the ways Lafayette prepares you for a smooth transition into college as well as life after graduation.

What is your favorite event in track and field? Why?
My favorite event in track and field is the hammer throw because it is so technical and really about how the ball moves, and how you react to it. With this event, you have to focus not only on your strength, but also your footwork and mobility. There are always drills that I can be practicing and when I make a breakthrough on technique, I really can see and feel the difference in the throw.

What has been your favorite moment while competing for Lafayette?
My favorite moment while competing for Lafayette was the Lafayette-Lehigh track meet. The energy of this meet is vastly different from any other meet that I had ever been to and it was really the first time that I was able to experience cheering for almost every event. This meet showed me how much of a community the team was, and left me lasting memories with my teammates.
