Why did you choose Lafayette?
I chose Lafayette because of its unique blend of rigorous academics (engineering in particular) and competitive athletics that is all included within a liberal arts education curriculum.
What is your favorite event in track? Why?
The javelin throw is my favorite event. I enjoy the challenge of the intense technical refinement process throughout the training season and getting to use that to put all my energy into a few key moments that are offered at meets. It has taught me patience and how to trust the process of work in order to achieve your intended end result.
What has been your favorite moment while competing for Lafayette?
Traveling with the team for meets and getting to know them so much better.
Personal: Son of Christopher and Midge McClosky... Has a younger brother William... Born on October 11, 2003.
