Why did you choose Lafayette?
I chose Lafayette because of the strong sense of community throughout the school as well as the unique option to self-design my major.
What is your favorite event in track? Why?
My favorite event in track is high jump because it is exhilarating to compete in and watch, due to how technical it is, but also how rewarding it feels to roll over on the mat and see the bar still up.
High School: Won Louisiana High School Athletic Association (LHSAA) 5A- District 6 high jump 2022, 2023, 2025... Set school record and personal record at 2023 District Championship with a jump of 5’4.5”... Placed sixth at LHSAA State Outdoor championships with a jump of 5’3.75”... LHSAA First Team All-State in high jump and pole vault... LHSAA Region II-5A high jump Champion 2025... District pole vault Champion 2025... District runner up in 100-meter hurdles 2025...
