Alex Sobelman was hired in July of 2022 as an Assistant Athletic Trainer. Sobelman is responsible for men’s soccer and softball.
Sobelman oversees the medical needs, evaluations, diagnoses, treatments and rehabilitations of student-athletes.
Prior to joining College Hill from August 2020 to July 2022, Sobelman was a member of the athletic training staff at Furman University where she worked with the women’s lacrosse and football programs. Her responsibilities included collaborating with fellow athletic trainers to provide the best care for the student-athletes, designing rehabilitation and injury prevention plans, maintaining documentation on injuries, illnesses and treatment, and completed a six-week rotation with Piedmont Orthopedic Associates in the physician clinic and operating room.
From 2018-20, Sobelman was an athletic training student at Moravian University throughout her graduate studies. During her time as an athletic training student, Sobelman completed clinical experiences with the men’s lacrosse, men’s and women’s track and field, and men’s soccer at the University of Maryland, St. Luke’s University Health Network, Bucknell University’s softball program, Furman University’s football and women’s basketball programs, and Warren Hills Regional High School.
Sobelman received her master’s in Athletic Training Moravian in 2020. In 2018, she graduated with her B.A. in communication studies from Long Island University.
