Brad Demsky joined the Lafayette tennis staff in 2026-27 as an assistant coach. He is currently in his first season with the squad.
Demsky graduated from Lafayette in 1986 with a degree in International Affairs and French. He was a four-year member of the varsity tennis team. During his senior season, the program won the conference championship.
He currently resides in Coopersburg, Pa. with his wife Michele. The pair own ArtSkills, a consumer products company developing and selling products through major retailers. Demsky's professional experience has included supply chain, marketing, manufacturing, accounting, analytics, legal, art, design and consumer insights.
Some of his favorite Lafayette memories include the friendships, the time the team spent together, and the trips they took — including memorable outings to New Orleans and Florida.
Demsky has been playing tennis since he was a kid, spending time on USTA and junior teams. He started teaching tennis at 15 years old and has now been coaching players at multiple levels for 46 years. Demsky ran the tennis program and summer camp at Rye Racquet Club in Harrison, N.Y. He continues to play competitively and is currently a 5.0 player.
Demsky loves teaching and helping players figure out what works best for them; his goal is to help players become the best they can be while enjoying the process.
Tennis has given him friendships, experiences and connections that have lasted hisentire life. It has also helped him professionally and taught lessons about competing, working with others, handling setbacks and preparing for the future.
