David Blasic

David Blasic enters his eighth year as athletic business manager for Lafayette's 23-sport varsity athletics program. He is the first person named to the position created in 2012.

In 2016, Blasic won the Maroon Club Staff Achievement Award, which is voted on by the Maroon Club Executive Committee. The award is given to the staff member who has demonstrated outstanding service to Lafayette College and its athletics program and is the highest honor that the Maroon Club bestows upon staff members.

Blasic worked for more than 17 years with the National Football League, most recently serving as Controller of NFL International LLC from 1997-2009. In that position, Blasic directed all financial aspects of the $100 million dollar division, reporting to the Senior Vice President of Finance and Administration of the NFL. Previously, he served separate tenures as Controller and Treasurer of NFL Europa and was the Jacksonville Jaguars' Director of Finance from the team's inception in 1994 through its first season in 1995.

A member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and New York State Society of CPAs, Blasic received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Penn State in 1984 and was employed at Arthur Andersen LLP as an Audit Manager prior to his tenure at the NFL. He is a native of New Brunswick, N.J. and currently resides in Washington Township, N.J.
