Giacomo Foli is in his first year as a defensive quality control coach.

He spent the 2025 season working with Army football as a recruiting assistant. Prior to that, he served as the NAIA Scouting Coordinator for the National Scouting Combine. While there, he oversaw player evaluations and data-based recruiting strategies, leveraging film analysis and regional scout input to create a national watchlist of more than 200 athletes.

Foli joined the University of Massachusetts football program in 2023 as a recruiting assistant, aiding in the coordination and execution of more than 40 major recruiting functions including recruiting visits and strategies.

He graduated from UMass in 2024 with a bachelor of science degree in sports management.
