Lafayette College Athletics

Ireland Amato joined the Lafayette tennis staff in March 2026 as an assistant coach for the men’s and women’s squads.

Amato was a five-year Division I student-athlete at Saint Joseph’s University from 2019-2024, where she was a consistent member of the lineup. Amato consistently posted winning seasons, including a top record of 13-5. Prior to her collegiate career, she was ranked amongst the top 30 junior players in California. 

She earned both a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Sports Marketing and a Master of Science in Marketing from Saint Joseph’s. During her time as a Hawk, Amato received multiple honors including ITA Scholar-Athlete recognition and Atlantic 10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll distinction.

In addition to her collegiate and coaching experience, Amato brings a diverse professional background in sports marketing and legal support. She currently works as a legal assistant/paralegal at Amato and Keating P.C. and serves as a PTR-certified tennis professional at Lehigh Valley Tennis Club.
