Jerome Pleiss ’18 took over the role of Assistant Director of Equipment Services in August of 2021.
He completed an internship at Kutztown University through Lafayette College, mainly working with football and other fall sports. Pleiss studied Sports Management and earned the Outstanding Intern Award while with the Golden Bears.
After graduation from College Hill, Pleiss accepted a paid internship with Lafayette College for two years. In that role, he worked closely with football, basketball and lacrosse. This included laundry for student-athletes, game day travel and setup as well as equipment and uniform distribution and other responsibilities.
In 2021, Pleiss was offered a new position, the Assistant Director of Equipment Services. His role is mainly stationed off campus at the Metzgar Sports Facilities and Complex and includes different sports such as baseball, softball, men and women’s soccer along with field hockey.
The Easton, Pa. native also assists Lafayette in many other athletic areas, both on and off campus.
