John Ciurciu is in his first season as a senior defensive analyst with the program.
He brings a wealth of coaching experience at the high school level in New Jersey and currently serves as an assistant football coach and head strength and conditioning coach at Paramus Catholic. Â
Prior to coaching in Paramus, he spent 2013-23 as an assistant football coach (defensive coordinator and defensive line) and head strength and conditioning coach at St. Joseph Regional in Montvale, N.J. That followed two different stints (2003-07, 2013-17) at Don Bosco Prep as a football coach, strength and conditioning coach and physical education teacher.Â
He also had previous coaching experience at Bergen Catholic (2010-13) and Hackensack (2007-09)Â high schools and William Paterson University (2006-07).Â
Ciurciu played collegiately at Rugters before graduating in 2000 with a bachelor's degree in sociology. He played one season of professional football with the AFL's Indiana Firebirds in 2001.
