Monica Hurd is in her first season as the director of football operations. 

Hurd previously served as a football operations student assistant at Texas A&M University in 2025-26, while pursuing her master’s degree at the school. Hurd supported daily football operations for the SEC program, assisting operations staff with administrative and logistical coordination, including game days, summer camp and Pro Day. 

Hurd graduated from Virginia with distinction in 2024, securing a bachelor’s degree in sociology with a minor in religious studies. She went on to earn her master’s degree in sports management at Texas A&M in 2026.
