Lafayette College Athletics

Ryan Callahan is in his first year as Lafayette's assistant athletic director of facilities and operations.

Callahan was promoted to his role in 2025 after serving as the assistant director of facilities and operations, a role he started in 2022.

Callahan came to Lafayette via Misericordia University in Dallas, Pennsylvania, where he was the interim coordinator of athletic event operations from Aug. 2021 to March 2022. Callahan was responsible for scheduling indoor and outdoor facilities, coordinating special events and overseeing staff and student workers and all game administrators. He also served as the site representative for the first and second rounds of the 2021 NCAA Division III Women's Soccer Tournament.

Callahan moved into that role after working as a graduate assistant starting in August 2020. He served as the event manager for all home athletic events including conference championships.  

A native of Highland Mills, New York, Callahan earned his bachelor of science degree in sports and recreation administration with a minor in business in 2020 from Keystone College, where he was a catcher on the baseball team. He finished his master of business administration degree from Misericordia in May 2022.
