Michael Chamberlain is in his sixth year at Lafayette and second as the second as the Senior Associate Athletic Director for Compliance and Student-Athlete Development.
 
In his position, Chamberlain is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all NCAA, Patriot League and Lafayette College compliance rules and regulations. This includes overseeing all roster management, athletic scholarships, acting as a database administrator for ARMS and NCAA applications, and any NIL or Title IX related matters. Additionally, he is responsible for creating an environment for student-athlete development, wellness and growth through educational initiatives, and programming and community engagement efforts. He also serves as a sport administrator for golf, volleyball, men's lacrosse, women's lacrosse, and men's basketball.
 
Chamberlain is a member of the department’s leadership and is a liaison between the department of athletics and the admissions, financial aid, and campus life departments at the College. 
 
Prior to Lafayette, Chamberlain served as the Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance at Radford University. In this position, Chamberlain was responsible for Radford’s adherence to all NCAA and Big South Conference rules and regulations and was the sport administrator for the men’s cross country, men’s soccer, women’s track and field, women’s cross country and women’s lacrosse programs. He also worked as the athletics representative on the Administrative/Professional Faculty Senate Board and was a member of the Intercollegiate Athletic Committee.
 
From 2013-16, Chamberlain was the Coordinator of Eligibility and Recruiting at Stony Brook University. While there, he earned his master’s degree in Human Resource Management.
 
The Cheltenham, Pa. native secured his bachelor’s degree in Sports and Recreation Management from Temple University in 2013 and served as a compliance and student-athlete affairs intern there from 2009-12. While an undergrad, Chamberlain also worked as a full-time compliance intern at the University of Oregon in 2013.
