LEWISBURG, Pa. (www.lafayette.edu) - The Lafayette volleyball team wrapped up its road trip this weekend with a 3-0 (7-15, 3-15, 10-15) loss at Bucknell in a league match on Saturday at Davis Gymnasium. Lafayette (1-18, 0-6 Patriot League) played its second match in 24 hours, coming from a Patriot League contest at Colgate on Friday.

Senior Michelle Calvo (Bethlehem, Pa./Bethlehem Catholic) and freshman Caroline Eshman (Bethesda, Md./Walter Johnson) each had 10 kills on the Lafayette offensive end while the pair also came up with 14 and 13 digs, respectively, on defense. Melissa Ommundsen (Northport, N.Y./Northport), playing in her second match back since suffering a concussion, contributed 27 assists in the loss.

The Bison (10-12, 5-1 Patriot League) were led on the attack by Brooke Bader with 10 kills and Whitney Williams with 26 assists.

Lafayette takes a break from Patriot League competition with a match at Pennsylvania on Tuesday.
