WEST POINT, N.Y. (www.lafayette.edu) - The Leopard volleyball team continued its Patriot League slate with a match at Army on Saturday but fell to the Black Knights, 3-0 (4-15, 8-15, 5-15). Lafayette (1-21, 0-8 Patriot League) entered the match coming off a 3-0 loss at Holy Cross on Friday.

Freshman middle blocker Katy Quinn (Manhasset, N.Y./Sacred Heart) led the Lafayette attack with seven kills. Senior co-captain and outside hitter Michelle Calvo (Bethlehem, Pa./Bethlehem Catholic) and freshman Caroline Eshman (Bethesda, Md./Walter Johnson) both recorded 10 digs on the defensive end for Lafayette. Senior setter and co-captain Melissa Ommundsen (Northport, N.Y./Northport) finished with 14 assists in the Leopard loss.

Army (14-9, 4-4 Patriot League) was led on offense by Caitlin Machon with eight kills and Beth Billinger with 21 assists.

Lafayette returns home after six straight road matches to host Navy on Friday at 7 p.m.
