Joel Goldberg carded a two-round 145 (73-72) to finish tied for second overall while leading the Lafayette golf team to a
ninth place finish at the Bucknell Invitational on Saturday and Sunday.
Jonathan Cohn tied for seventh overall with a 148 (74-74) at the 6,253-yard course at the Bucknell Golf Club.
Rounding out the top five for Lafayette were Frank Fazzinga tied for 50th (158, 77-81), John Semiz tied for 75th (166, 85-81) and Derek Downing
tied for 79th (167, 88-79).
Colgate won the overall team title with a score of 596. Bob Whartenby was the medalist with a 142 (71-71).
Lafayette returns to action on Sept. 28 when it participates in the Moravian Invitational.
