VESTAL, N.Y. (www.lafayette.edu) - The Leopard volleyball team travelled to Binghamton tonight and came home with a 3-0 loss to the Bearcats. Binghamton improved to 6-10 while Lafayette's first win continues to elude them as they fell to 0-21.

Lafayette was led by freshman outside hitter Kate Walkenhorst (Tulsa, Okla./Cascia Hall) who paced the Leopards with eight kills while setter Heidi Olichwier (Arlington Heights, Ill./Buffalo Grove) added seven kills and 15 assists.

Binghamton was led by freshman Michele Heck who posted 16 kills while setter Sarah DeClemente dished out 33 assists.

The Bearcats (6-10) host Canisius on Friday at 7 p.m.

Lafayette looks to bounce back as they host Patriot League foe Colgate on Friday for a 7:30 p.m. match.
