Stats

BETHLEHEM, Pa. (www.lafayette.edu) - In it's final match of the season, the Lafayette volleyball team dropped a Patriot League match to rival Lehigh tonight in Bethlehem. The Mountain Hawks improved to 11-3 in league play with the 3-0 win. The Leopards fell 30-18, 30-17 and 30-24 to drop to 0-14 in league action.

Lehigh was paced by junior Rochelle Healea who led the team in kills with 17 and tabbed 8 digs. The Mountain Hawk's Kira Bosak recorded 23 assists and a team high of 16 digs while Katie Dukatz tallied a team high five blocks on the contest.

Lafayette was led by freshman Kate Walkenhorst (Tulsa, Okla./Cascia Hall) with eight kills while setter Heidi Olichwier (Arlington Height, Ill./Buffalo Grove) dished out 19 assists on the night.

In the back court, the Leopards were led by Erin Brune (Pasadena, Calif./Mayfield) and Lori DeVito (Greensburg, Pa./Hempfield) who each picked up 10 digs.

Lafayette (0-31, 0-14) finishes its season on a disappointing note having failed to close out a match. The future looks promising for the young squad who returns eight letterwinners next year including six freshmen.
