BOSTON (AP) - Neil Rose ran for two touchdowns and passed for two more Saturday to lead Harvard to a 38-14 victory over Lafayette.
The Crimson (2-0) took a 14-0 first quarter lead on a 15-yard pass from Rose to Carl Morris and a 1-yard run by Rose.
Rose completed 17 of 24 passes for 261 yards and Morris had 123 yards on nine catches, including the 100th of his career.
Robbie Wright's 24-yard field goal and Rose's second touchdown run with 4:58 left in second quarter gave the Crimson a 24-0 halftime lead.
Marko Glavic, who was 20 of 37 with two interceptions, got Lafayette (0-3) on the board four minutes into the third quarter with a 7-yard touchdown pass to Stewart Kupfer. It was the Leopards' first touchdown this season.
Harvard answered two minutes later when Rose hooked up with Morris from 8 yards to make it 31-7.
Nick Palazzo, with 98 yards on 21 carries, scored the final Harvard touchdown from the 10 with 12:32 to play.
Chad Richie completed a 10-play Lafayette scoring drive on a 1-yard run with 8:28 left.
