EASTON, Pa. (www.lafayette.edu) - Area youngsters will have an opportunity to experience the college game-day atmosphere when Lafayette hosts NCAA? Football's annual Take a Kid to the Game? (TAKG) program. Kids, ages 13 and younger, will receive a free ticket with the purchase of an adult ticket, to watch the Leopards take on Holy Cross this Saturday at Lafayette's Fisher Field.
Lafayette is one of more than 170 schools across the nation that are participating in this campaign focused on attracting more of the nation's youths to college games. The Take a Kid to the Game? program is in its eighth year in the promotion of NCAA? Athletics.
"We are very excited to be participating in the NCAA Take a Kid to the Game initiative," said Bruce McCutcheon, Lafayette's director of athletics. "Our wish is that all of the young kids in our immediate area will have the opportunity to experience the one-of-a-kind atmosphere that is NCAA Football."
