Lafayette head coach Frank Tavani

"We knew we were going to be in a tough ball game. Year in and year out, Bucknell is a top defense in the league and this year is certainly no different. They have two outstanding players defensively that we worried about all day in (Adam) Lord and (Joe) Massey. I thought we were pretty much able to neutralize those two guys and that was a huge thing. We had some opportunities and we should have stuck some touchdowns in there early. We said we were coming in here with a war mentality. I thought our kids really rose up to the occasion, particularly following two very frustrating weeks coming up touchdowns short in big games. We're trying to finish this thing out and send our seniors out with a winning season. This was the first step before returning to Fisher Field to finish taking care of business."

"I thought the first series out, we may have started out a little conservative. They have a tough defense and they made some adjustments. We were able to move it and it ended up 19-3. Whether we scored more points or not, what matters is the end result. I was really happy with the way our defense was playing."

Lafayette defensive back Herb Kennedy

"We talked all week about winning the turnover battle. We haven't done that well winning it the past couple of games. We knew we had to respond, especially after last week. We came out and played hard."
