EASTON, Pa. (www.lafayette.edu) - The Lafayette football team cancelled its morning practice in order to volunteer for the College's Move-In Day 2002. This is the fourth straight year the Leopards have participated in the program they helped initiate.
The players then spent the afternoon in positional meetings and will resume regular practices tomorrow. The team is scheduled for two-a-day sessions on Friday and Saturday with practices set for 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. at Metzgar Fields both days.
Preseason camp concludes Aug. 25 with an intrasquad scrimmage at Fisher Field at 9 a.m. The Leopards open the 2002 season Sept. 7 when they host Monmouth at 1 p.m. at Fisher Field.
