The Moss Chronicle

Nov. 24, 2003

Standing there on the sideline for my last college game was tough. There really is nothing like playing in the Lehigh game.

However, I was able to look back at my career and be very grateful. I've been able to play in 3 Lehigh games, beating them once which is something that a lot of guys before me were not able to do. I've had a chance to play with a record-setting quarterback, running back and few wide receivers. Not to mention all the wonderful relationships I've made off the field with my teammates and their families.

This certainly was not the year everyone expected it to be. We definitely felt that we had enough talent to win but things just didn't go our way. It wasn't lack of effort or heart. And in reality, that Colgate team was clearly the best team in the league and deserved to have the season they had. There is still a tremendous amount of talent left on this team and I really believe that they can be successful next year and years to come. I will say that I'm glad to be moving on and finally getting a chance to fully enjoy college like a normal student.

Special thanks to Phil LaBella and Scott Morse for giving me the opportunity to write these journal entries. I had fun doing them and thanks to everyone who read them.
