HOBOKEN, N.J. (www.lafayette.edu) - The Lafayette fencing team competed at the MACFA Championships on Sunday in hopes of qualifying for NCAA Regionals. Five Leopards met the qualifying standards.

Maureen Auro and Mathew Ingraham will compete in the foil, while Dave Watrous qualified in the epee. Andrew Thomas and Tom Gauntner will participate in the sabre competition.

Gauntner finished 23rd in the NCAA competition in 2002.
