Best-selling author John Feinstein will visit GoLeopards.com on Saturday afternoon for a live chat from 4:30 - 5 p.m. to preview the Lafayette men's basketball team's Patriot League Tournament quarterfinal round game vs. Colgate.
Feinstein, who has joined RCN4 sports director Gary Laubach as a color analyst on Lafayette Sports Network telecasts the past three seasons, is the author of The Last Amateurs, a best-selling book chronicling the 1999-2000 Patriot League men's basketball season and the Leopards' championship run, as well as A Season on the Brink, A Good Walk Spoiled and several others.
Feinstein is handling color analyst duties for all telecast of the Patriot League Game of the Week package this season, including both men's semifinals of the Patriot League Tournament on Sunday.
Nationally recognized as a leader in collegiate sports broadcasting on regional television and radio, Lafayette has seen its web site become one of the most popular mediums for Leopard fans. The sports portal of www.lafayette.edu received more than 2.5 million page views in 2002 as more than 100 audio or video webcasts were made available. The Fall of 2002 alone saw more than one million page views.
