BETHLEHEM, Pa. (www.lafayette.edu) - Jeremiah O'Neill shot a 75 to lead Lafayette to a second place finish at the Lehigh Valley Collegiate Invitational. The event, which pitted the Lehigh Valley's colleges of Lafayette, Lehigh, Moravian and Muhlenberg, was played at the par-72 Grace Course at Saucon Valley County Club.
Garrett Copp posted a 76 to finish fifth, four strokes off of the leader. Mike Troxell was seventh (77), Derek Downing 10th (78) and Mike Aarts 14th (79). Bradley Rock rounded out the Lafayette field, ending in a tie for 10th with an 84.
Lehigh's Patrick McCahill took home medalist honors, shooting a 72. The Leopards finished eight strokes behind Lehigh (298) and ahead of Moravian (314) and Muhlenberg (318).
Lafayette returns to action on Friday and Saturday when the Leopards compete in the Canisius College Invitational being played in Easton, Md.
