WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J. - In its final tune-up before the Patriot League Championships, Lafayette finished third in a quad match hosted by Monmouth on Thursday. The Leopards shot a team score of 343 to place behind Monmouth (322), Fairleigh Dickinson (328) and ahead of Wagner (348).

Bradley Rock and Thomas Hennessy both carded rounds of 84 at the par-71 Deal Golf and Country Club to finish in a tie for eighth. Jesse Morgan finished with an 87, followed by Chris Peyman (88), and James Garton (95) for the Leopards.

Monmouth's Rick Wortman and Fairleigh Dickinson's Steve Shellock tied for individual meadlist honors following their rounds of 77.

The Leopards will compete in the Patriot League Championships on Saturday and Sunday at Saucon Valley Country Club's Grace Course located in Bethlehem. Pa. The championship is scheduled for 54 holes, with competitors playing 27 holes each day.
