SELINSGROVE, Pa. (www.lafayette.edu) - The Lafayette golf team finished sixth at the Susquehanna Invitational on March 27 at the 6,261-yard Susquehanna Valley Country Club.

Michael Troxell was the Leopards' top finisher, carding a round of 80 on the par-70 course to end in 22nd. Brad Godette (81) and Jim Garton (82) finished just behind Troxell in 25th and 27 places, respectively. Sean McMonagle (32nd; 84) and Thomas Hennessy (42nd; 88) rounded out the field for the Leopards.

Susquehanna's Steve Datt was the tournament medalist, shooting a 72 on his home course. The hosts place two more golfers in the top three to claim the tournament team title with a score of 299. Lafayette ended sixth with a score of 327.
