The Moss Chronicle

Sept. 18, 2003

As easy as it was to write last week's entry, it is equally as hard to write this one. It seemed like everything on offense that could've gone wrong at Towson, did go wrong. What makes it feel worse is that it was a league game and I think we all feel like we were the better team. Unfortunately, how we feel doesn't mean jack if you don't perform.

This is definitely going to be a tough two weeks with a bitter feeling, knowing that we can't let out our frustrations for at least an extra week with the bye. I think it is important for our team to realize that the season is a marathon not a sprint and not put so much pressure on ourselves. And to be honest, I'd rather lose like this early in the season and learn from this as opposed to losing late in the season. So, back to the drawing board on to try to get better and get ready for Princeton.

Big shout out to Curt Wilson for holding down the o-line with the highest grade and some devastating cut blocks.
