EASTON, Pa. (www.lafayette.edu) - GoLeopards.com and CSTV's CollegeSports.com have launched a special GAMEDAY CENTRAL page for Lafayette football fans to follow the 2004 Patriot League Champions in the first round of the NCAA Division I-AA Playoffs at Delaware.
The Leopards, ranked 24th in this week's ESPN/USA Today Top 25, make their postseason debut on Saturday, traveling to defending national champion Delaware for a 3:05 p.m. kickoff.
The Lafayette-Delaware game will be televised nationally by CSTV: College Sports Television. CSTV is available via DIRECTV channel 610 and on both Comcast and Time Warner Cable. Regionally, the CSTV broadcast will be available on Lafayette Sports Network affiliates RCN TV-4 and WBPH TV-60. The CSTV broadcast can also be seen in the Harriburg, Baltimore, and Philadelphia markets, as well as most of New Jersey, on CN8.
Lafayette (8-3 overall, 5-1 Patriot League) earned the league's automatic bid to the postseason via a 24-10 win over Lehigh on Saturday. Delaware (8-3 overall, 7-1 Atlantic 10), ranked 10th in the ESPN/USA Today Top 25, earned an at-large berth after sharing the conference title with William & Mary and James Madison.
