EASTON, Pa. (www.lafayette.edu) - Lafayette's men's tennis team is ranked 65th among all NCAA Division I teams in the season's first Intercollegiate Tennis Association rankings.

The Leopards are 8-1 entering Saturday's Patriot League opener against Colgate.

Lafayette is the lone Patriot League team in the ITA Top-75 and is one of just seven schools in the Northeast to earn a spot on the list. The Leopards have shut out four of their opponents and have won three other matches by a 6-1 score.

Saturday's Patriot League opener against Colgate is set to begin at 2 p.m. at Sullivan Courts. That match begins a stretch that sees the Leopards at home for five of six matches in an 11-day span.
