NESHANIC STATION, N.J. (www.lafayette.edu) - The Lafayette golf team finished sixth of nine schools at the Peacock Invitational, hosted by Saint Peter's College, on Tuesday at the Neshanic Valley Golf Course.
Brandon Mitchel led the Leopards with a 79, followed by an 81 by Kyle Manjuck. Tom Palmer, Clint Smith and Tom Hennessy completed Lafayette's five-man squad.
Bucknell won the event with a 303, and Pat Yingling shot a 71 to post the day's low round by two strokes over Chris Decalo of Wagner.
Lafayette will play in the Lehigh Valley Quad Match at the Lehigh Country Club on Wednesday afternoon. Lehigh, Moravian and Muhlenberg will also be competing.
