ITHACA, N.Y. (www.lafayette.edu) - Junior Pat Kelly was Lafayette's top individual finisher at the Cornell Invitational, held Saturday and Sunday at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Course.
Kelly carded rounds of 77, 75 and 79 on the par-72, 6,890-yard layout to tie for 34th. Freshmen Reed Valutas and Matt Ehrlich combined to shoot all six rounds in the low 80's, with Valutas finishing two strokes better at 243.
The Leopards tied Wagner for 13th in the 15-team field. Rider won the event, with St. Bonaventure and the hosts rounding out the top three.
