BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Lafayette golf traveled the short distance to the Saucon Valley Country Club to compete against three Patriot League teams in the nine-team tournament. With top-finisher Tyler Ostrovksy recording a score of 161, the Leopards placed eighth with a combined team-score of 650.
Ostrosky tied for 18th overall just one shot ahead of junior Steve Melnic who shot a 162 (81,81). Melnic tied for 23rd among the field of 45 golfers. Rookie Erik Adolfsson shot a team-best round of 76 on day two to finish tied for 27th with a final score of 164.
Senior Brandon Mitchel finished 32nd just ahead of junior Anoop Shah who tied for 33rd. Mitchel shot a 167 (88, 79) and Shah shot a 168 (87, 81). The Lehigh Invitational was the final fall competition for the Leopard golf team.
