Volleyball Grabs 3-0 Win over Holy Cross

WORCESTER, Mass. - The Lafayette volleyball team used a 3-0 sweep of Patriot League opponent Holy Cross to snap a four match win streak and record its second conference victory of the fall. Kayly Elmer extended her double-double streak to four matches with 16 kills and 15 digs.

The Leopards (7-13, 2-4) won in straight sets with 25-10, 26-24, and 25-19 wins. The victory completed a season sweep of the Crusaders, who fell to 1-17 overall and remain winless in league play at 0-6.

Elmer's 16 kills and 15 digs were both match-highs. Sophomore Katrina Racibarskas joined Elmer in double-digit kill totals with 10. Racibarskas also added three service aces for Lafayette. Kari Horn recorded 15 digs while Megan Carter led both squads with 39 assists.

Lafayette wraps-up weekend play tomorrow with a 4 p.m. match at Army.
