Day 1 Results

Center Valley, Pa. - The Lafayette men's golf team completed the first day of the Muhlenberg College Invitational in seventh out of 12 teams on Sunday. The Leopards shot a combined score of 329 in the first round in Center Valley, Pa.

Sophomore Tyler Ostrovsky led the team with a 5-over-par 77. Senior Ken Suarez was the only other Leopard to finish day one in the top-20, shooting a 7-over-par 79.

Freshman Michael Curcio carded an 82, followed by senior Steven Melnic (91) and freshman Carter Rufe (92).

Center Valley Club is a par 72, 6,646-yard course. The Leopards resume play again today for the final round of the tournament.
