ALLENTOWN, Pa. - The Lafayette men's golf team finished sixth in the Muhlenberg Invitational on Monday at the Center Valley Club. The Leopards' combined 647 was four strokes shy of cracking into the top-five finishers in the 12-team event.
After posting a 10-over 82 for 32nd place on the first day, freshman Michael Curcio bounced back with a 1-over 73 on the final day of competition. His combined score (155) tied him for sixth place, a career-best finish for the rookie.
Sophomore Tyler Ostrovsky gave the Leopards another top-10 performance with his overall score of 158, tying for ninth place.
Seniors Ken Suarez and Steven Melnic and freshman Carter Rufe rounded out the Leopards' scores. Lafayette concluded its fall season with this invitational.
