EASTON, Pa. - The Lafayette men's soccer team is gearing up for a critical Patriot League match against Bucknell on Friday night in Lewisburg. The game, which is significant as the conference season winds down and postseason berths are up for grabs, will be aired live on Fox Soccer Channel, giving Lafayette fans across the country the opportunity to catch their Leopards in action.
The Leopards enter the game riding a three-match unbeaten streak but will face a formidable opponent in the Bison, whose 13 wins this fall match a program record. Lafayette (9-5-2, 3-2-0) currently stands in third place in the Patriot League standings while Bucknell (13-4-0, 4-1-0) is second. Only American (9-3-1, 4-0-1) has secured a spot in the postseason and no team has clinched the No. 1 seed.
Friday's game time is set for 8 p.m.
Lafayette's regular season comes to an end on Saturday, Nov. 7 with a 7 p.m. home game against league opponent Navy.
