EASTON, Pa. - The Lafayette men's golf team hosted its only home invitational of the season on Saturday and Sunday, finishing 15th out of the 21-team event at the Center Valley Country Club.

The field battled high winds on Saturday in the first round of play. Freshman Chip Culp emerged with Lafayette's lowest round with a seven-over par 79. He sank a 161 overall.

Four of the five Leopards improved their second-round scores by at least four strokes. Tyler Ostrovsky led the way with a team-low 76 on the second day to finish with a 12-over-par 156, tying for 29th place.

Patriot League Golfer of the Month Rob Robertson was behind him with a 160. Michael Curcio made the Leopards' biggest jump with an eight-stroke improvement, shooting a 78 on Sunday for an overall 164.

Erik Adolfsson rounded out the quintet with a 165.

Lehigh took the trophy for best team finish and Delaware's Justin Martinson birdied hole two in a sudden death round with Villanova's Brendan Kelly to claim the best individual finish. It was the first time in the invitational's history that a sudden death round was needed to declare a winner.

Next up, Lafayette heads the Annapolis, Md., on April 17 for the Navy Spring Invitational.
