ITHICA, N.Y. - Tyler Ostrovsky placed sixth overall and the Lafayette men's golf team finished fourth among 14 teams at the 2010 Big Red Fall Invitational on Sunday afternoon at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Course.
Binghamton won the event with a three-round total of 868, 13 shots clear of second place Columbia. Binghamton's Jake Katz took first place with a total of 211 (70-72-69).
Ostrovsky shot 70-76-73 to finish with a total of 219 on the par-72 course. Erik Adolfsson (76-71-78) and Cody Sumpter (74-80-71) both finished tied for 21st finishing with a total of 225. Dave Kafafian rounded out the group finishing with a 231 (74-77-80).
Lafayette is back in action when the Leopards and Rider host the Lafayette/Rider Cup Fall Challenge on Oct. 9-10.
