The Lafayette golf team competed in the Navy Spring Invitational on Saturday and Sunday and placed third for the weekend with a score of 610 (307-303). TCU grabbed first place finishing at 586 while Columbia was behind them at 597.

Junior Rob Robertson led the way for the Maroon and White carding a 149 for the weekend. Robertson shot a 75 on the opening day and finished three-over par on the second day with 74, he tied for 11th.

Cody Sumpter finished tied for 22nd place with a 154, while Erik Adolfsson tied for 37th (157), Tyler Ostrovsky t-42nd (158) and Carter Rufe t-48th (159).

The Leopards are back in action on April 26th when Lafayette competes in the Peacock Invitational in New Jersey. Tee-time is set for 9 a.m.
