Lafayette took third place at the Lehigh Invitational hosted by Saucon Valley Country Club as Mike Zausmer and Robert Dyer both recorded top-10 finishes.

Zausmer entered Sunday's second and final round in second place after firing an even-par 72 in the opening round. A second-round 79 dropped dropped him into a tie for fifth place overall. Dyer went 76-78--154 to finish tied for eighth.

Towson won the team title at 602, led by individual champion John Hulede, while Rutgers finished second at 621. Lafayette's team score of 628 edged out Fordham by one stroke and Villanova by five strokes. The Patriot League was well-represented at the tournament as Bucknell finished night and Lehigh 10th in the 12-team field.

Lafayette's other team scores included Jared Mactas (T11th; 75-80--155), Kirk Massie (T18th; 79-79--158), Patrick Luther (T30th; 74-87--161) and Art Griffin (T60th; 81-88--169).

The Leopards are scheduled to wrap up the fall season Thursday in the Monmouth quad match at Deal Country Club in Deal, N.J.
