OPENING TIP

- With one point on Wednesday evening, senior Joey Ptasinski would reach the 1,000-point plateau for his career. If that milestone is reached, Ptasinski, senior Dan Trist and classmate Seth Hinrichs would become the first trio of 1,000-point scorers on the same team in Lafayette history.

- Lafayette has been involved in nothing but close games since entering Patriot League play as five of six contests have been decided by 10 points or less. Additionally, the non-conference average margin of 18.3 points per game looks massive compared to a 5.8 points per game margin against league opponents.

- Lafayette ranks in the top-30 nationally in all three offensive efficiency categories, including holding the ninth spot in the country in three-point shooting percentage, knocking in distance shots at a 40.7 percent rate. Additionally, The Leopards are 12th in free-throw percentage (75.7%) and 30th in overall field-goal percentage (47.8%).

- Ptasinski has been excellent this season, ranking first in the nation in three-point shooting percentage (52.1%) and 27th in three's per game at 2.9 per contest, also good enough for first in the league ranks.
