Led by freshman Art Griffin's two-under 70, Lafayette sits in second place at the 2015 Finegan Invitational hosted by La Salle at Stonewall Country Club's North Course.  The Leopards trail Wagner by just two strokes and Griffin sits in second place overall on the individual leaderboard.

Lafayette is just one stroke ahead of third-place Monmouth, four strokes ahead of fourth-place Hofstra and five strokes ahead of fifth-place and host La Salle.  

All five Leopards broke 80 on the day.  Sophomore Jared Mactas is tied for sixth place after carding a 72 while freshman Sam Aronoff is tied for 18th after firing a 75, senior Mike Zausmer is tied for 34th after shooting a 77 and junior Patrick Luther is tied for 44th after recording a 79.

The second and final round on the par-70, 6,735-yard course begins at 10 a.m. tomorrow with a shotgun start.
