After a scoreless opening 45 minutes, Army (4-5-1, 1-2 PL) netted the game's only goal in the 50
th minute when the Black Knights earned their first corner of the night and made the most of it.
Lafayette (4-4-2, 0-2-1 PL) had a great opportunity in the 69

Conor O'Donnell streaking down the middle, but his shot attempt was denied by the Army netminder who fully extended to deny the equalizer.
The Maroon and White won the shots on goal battle, leading the Black Knights 5-3 in the category.
Lafayette returns to action on Saturday, playing its third road game in four contests when it travels to Boston University for a 3 p.m. kickoff.
