EASTON, Pa. – Lafayette men's soccer head coach
Dennis Bohn welcomed five student-athletes to the class of 2023 on National Signing Day on Wednesday.
The Leopards will welcome five field players to the 2019 roster from across the country.
Jon Ford comes to College Hill from Valley Stream, New York where he attends Valley Stream Central High School. The 6-1 forward has had success at both the scholastic and club levels, winning a New York Cup championship, Westchester Futsal championship and named MVP, while being a finalist in the Pocono Cup.

Benji Grossi is a 5-11 midfielder from Pembroke Pines, Florida. He attends the American Heritage School where he is a captain and his team claimed back-to-back state championships. Grossi was named both the
Sun Sentinel and
Miami Herald Player of the Year while garnering all-state honors.
From Princeton Junction, New Jersey comes Leo Hecht. A 5-8 midfielder, Hecht attends West Windsor Plainsboro High School where he has scored four goals and has 13 assists. Upon arrival on College Hill, he will be a Marquis Scholar.

Another midfielder joining the Leopards is David Mizrahi from Aventura, Florida. At University High School, Mizrahi was a four-year starter where the team claimed a state and district championship. He was named to the Broward County first team in 2018 and second team in 2017. He was a team captain his junior and senior seasons.
The fifth signee is defender Jack Needham from San Mateo, California. Needham played three years at St. Ignatius in San Francisco where he scored 58 goals and won a Northern California Championship before playing at Avon Old Farms in Avon, Connecticut where the team claimed a Class A championship. He was a top-10 defender in the New England Prep League and named to the all-conference teams at both St. Ignatius and Avon Old Farms.
