- Lafayette returns to Fisher Stadium looking to extend its best start to a season since 2010, hosting Binghamton on College Hill at noon. The Leopards began the year with a loss at No. 12 Rutgers before ripping off three straight victories over NJIT (14-10), Wagner (13-10) and Manhattan (13-5).
- Saturday's contest is Lafayette's HEADstrong Classic, with the program helping to raise funds and awareness for the HEADstrong Foundation and its fight against cancer. Join Lafayette and Binghamton to help improve the quality of life for those affected by this disease and support those working toward its elimination. Please visit the "HEADstrong" link to the right and help change the game for those affected by cancer.
- Seniors
Connar Dehnert and co-captain
Conor Walters have led the Leopards offensively so far this season with 10 goals and six assists, respectively, with both at 11 points on the year. Walters led the Maroon and White a year ago with 28 goals and 21 assists as a junior.
- Sophomore
Gabe Smithline has picked up his play over the last two contests, winning the battle at the X in each of the wins over Wagner and Manhattan. Over the last two games, Smithline has won 26 of his 45 bouts, a 57.8 percent success rate.
- Freshman
Ryan Ness continues to be solid in his inaugural collegiate campaign between the pipes. Ness carries a 9.75 goals-against average through four contests, averaging 8.0 saves per game.
- The Countdown to Face-Off Men's Lacrosse Giving Challenge is set to begin on Monday, Feb. 25 and end at face-ff on Saturday, March 2, the Patriot League opener at Army. Last year's challenge had great success, bringing in just shy of $80,000 from 148 donors over the course of six days and this year, our goal again will be to raise $75,000 within the six-day time frame. If that goal is achieved, an anonymous donor will donate an additional $25,000 towards the program. Thank you to those who have already made a commitment to support the program this year, and if you have yet to make your gift, please consider doing so next week.
