- Lafayette carries its best start since 2009 and its highest win total since 2015 into Patriot League play on Saturday, traveling to West Point, New York for a battle with No. 15/17 Army at noon. Army fell to No. 17/20 Syracuse in its last time out, but has already knocked off No. 18/19 UMass and No. 8/10 Rutgers this season, sitting at 3-1.

Cole Dutton was named the Patriot League Rookie of the Week on Monday following a seven-point week in a pair of wins over Manhattan and Binghamton. Dutton netted a pair with a helper at Manhattan and followed that up with three assists to go along with a score against Binghamton.Â

Stephen Sajer was also given an honorable mention nod by the league for his performances last week. Sajer registered three caused turnovers and three ground balls against Binghamton and is part of a defensive unit that allowed just five goals over the final three periods to help pull out a 13-12 win over the Bearcats.
